This footed bowl was crafted from the crotch of a maple tree harvested deep in the woods and has a gently out-turned rim to complement its foot, as well as highlight the swirling grain. A bark inclusion ran through the center of this piece and it has been replaced by black resin which beautifully offsets the wood’s natural colors. Measuring approximately 11.25”x3”, this bowl is perfect for a salad, fruit, or as a display piece. Finished with tung oil and lacquer.
