Giant Aged Maple Bowl
This wonderful bowl is the culmination of a decade of work. I was rough turned in 2014, re-turned in 2015, and set aside to age for another nine years before final finishing. This process allowed it to acquire a deep amber patina that only nature can provide. Made of sugar maple, this bowl is 18.5” in diameter and stands approximately 5 inches high. Finished with Tung oil and lacquer. Perfect for a summer salad!
